There are at least two bands using this name. 1) The new Alt-country/Americana music of Anchorage based Last Train is shaped by the musical journey of its members, with influences ranging from twang to punk. The result is an Alaskan version of Americana which reflects the unique northern culture and landscape. With a refreshing ability to create genre bending arrangements, the band is ever mindful of its roots as it carves deeper into the heart of Alt-country. It is familiar Americana with a bit of steam locomotive behind it.
